StroyGazMontazh Quality Control Service

The building inspection of performance quality in the SGM Croup of Сompanies is conducted by the Quality Control Service (QCS), which is a part of LLC «SGM». This control includes the following stages: incoming inspection, operational control, acceptance control as well as the surveillance over the work of quality control services of subcontractors. Specialists of QCS developed and implemented «Regulations on assessment of the performance quality of subcontractors», according to which the subcontractors’ performance quality is monthly assessed on the sites.

An integral part of the building inspection is the geodesic control. The department of geodesic support for construction projects belongs to the QCS. LLC «SGM» obtained a license for the performance of geodesic works and developed the «Rules of quality control performance and acceptance of geodesic works».

The modern control equipment and measuring instruments allow to fulfill all the requirements of the client and to provide a high control objectiveness. «Stroygasmontazh» applies widely the automated ultrasonic quality control of joint welds in the field, radiation flaw detection and others.

Quality control procedures are obligatory for all types of construction and installation works: early works, excavating works, handling operations, transportation, welding and installation, pipe-laying and insulation works, electrochemical protection, and civil works.

«Stroygasmontazh » continuously upgrades the engineering performance standard of executing construction and installation works, uses high-efficiency equipment and new technologies. During construction of crossings across surface and water obstacles the technologies of horizontal directional drilling and of microtunneling are applied, which have a minimal impact on the environment and operating infrastructure elements.

High quality of the projects realization is achieved due to the coordinated work of the company’s and client’s specialists, the use of modern equipment as well as the permanent enhancement of the quality management system.

StroyGazMontazh Production of Equipment Service

The main production asset of SGM Group of Companies is OJSC «Volgogradneftemash».
 
JSC “Volgogradneftemash” is the largest Russian manufacturer of equipment for oil and gas and pet­ro­che­mi­cal industries.

The enterprise specializes in manufacturing high-pressure vessels (columns, reactors, separators), heat exchangers, crude pumps and pipe fittings.

In 2010 «Volgogradneftemash» manufactured over 8 thousand tons of oil equipment including 164 units of packaged equipment and 16 units of large-size equipment. In total in 2010, the plant produced and offloaded to the consumer products for the amount over 4 bln. RUB. In June 2011 «Volgogradneftemash» produced its millionth ton of oil equipment.

The Joint Stock Company «Volgogradneftemash» joins together the Volgograd Plant of Oil Machinery (Volgograd) and the Kotelnikovsky Fitting Plant (Kotelnikovo, Volgograd region). For 70 years of production and operation, the enterprise accumulated vast experience of manufacturing oil and gas equipment, which proved to be safe in operation. The company is especially proud of its thick-walled reactors and over-sized towers that are in high demand on the market of oil refinery equipment. Its own pier on the Volga river allows them to offload bulk oversized equipment already fully assembled to ship it to the oil refinery plants of the country, both already in operation and those under construction.

Not only Russian companies such as Gazprom, Rosneft, Lukoil, TNK-BP are among its clients but also companies from the CIS countries: Belneftekhim (Belarus), Uzbekneftegaz (Uzbekistan), Ukrnafta (Ukraine), KazMunayGaz (Kazakhstan). The Quality Management System of OJSC «Volgogradneftemash» complies with the requirements of international standards ISO 9000. All production is manufactured in conformity with the requirements of technical regulations for safety of machinery and equipment which is confirmed by certificates. Since 1993 the Company is certified by the Committee of American Society of Mechanical Engineers for manufacturing high pressure vessels under the norms of ASME Code using symbols U and U2.

StroyGazMontazh Overhaul Service

 SGM Group of Companies performs overhaul of linear parts of trunk gas pipelines and gas distribution stations (GDS).
One of the main business areas of LLC «SGM» is gas production, transportation and storage facilities overhaul for OAO Gazprom demands.
In 2012 the works at 13,962 facilities of OAO Gazprom have been carried out by LLC «STROYGAZMONTAZH», including linear gas pipeline portions overhaul within 2.5 thousand segments. Repair works covered the most of Russian regions. Total length of renovated gas trunk pipelines is 645 km and more than 120 gas-distributing stations were repaired.
Also LLC «SGM» provides maintenance and routine repair of power-generating equipment, electrochemical protection systems, heat and water supply systems, automated control systems, works for equipment and linear gas trunk pipeline portions diagnostics.
In 2013 LLC «SGM» plans to carry out works within 13,289 facilities by the order of 18 gas transportation and production entities of OAO Gazprom.

StroyGazMontazh Construction Service

SGM Group of Companies performs construction works of virtually all the strategically important trunk gas pipelines in Russia, including
Dzhubga-Lazarevskoye-Sochi, Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok, Gryazovets-Vyborg, Pochinki-Gryazovets, Ukhta-Torzhokgas pipelines and also holds responsibility for the construction of 14 compressor stations and above 20 gas distribution stations.

Among the works being performed by SGM Group of Companies are:

• Construction of facilities for the oil and gas sector, including development of oil and gas fields; building of commercial, industrial and trunk pipelines; construction of facilities for comprehensive treatment of gas, gas condensate and oil;
• Supervision to ensure the conformity of construction-assembly work and used structures, products, materials, and supplied equipment with the project design as well as with the construction norms and regulations, standards, specifications and other normative documents;
• Control over error correction in design and estimate documentation and work to prevent unjustified increases in estimated cost of construction;

Organization of production and procurement of equipment plays an important role in the work of «Stroygasmontazh».

In the area of procurement we provide:

• Market studies of products and services, analyses of purchasing practices and practices of holding tenders for commodities and services, including those for the government needs;
• Development of detailed recommendations for refining logistics and other production schemes and methodological instructions to improve business processes of the executing agency;
• Preparation of packages of tenders and bid paperwork, organizational and consulting support for procurement or execution of work, rendering forwarding services;
• Control over execution of contract terms.
