Construction of the trunk gas pipeline Dzhubga Lazarevskoye – Sochi has become one of the main projects of SGM Group of Companies
The Employer of this construction is LLC “Peter Gaz”.The gas pipeline has been built and commissioned in June 2011.
The gas pipeline Dzhubga – Lazarevskoye – Sochi joins the program of Olympic facilities construction and development of Sochi as a year-round resort, approved by the RF government. The gas pipeline will provide reliable energy supply to Sochi and supply of gas to the Olympic facilities under construction, will give momentum to development of Tuapse region gasification, will decrease energy deficiency of the Black Sea coast of the Caucasus
The gas pipeline length amounts to 177 km, 159 km out of which are installed on the Black Sea seabed, and 17.5 km on the surface. The pipe diameter is 530 mm. Pressure is 9.8 MPa. Design capacity is 3.8 billion m 3 per year
The shore and offshore gas pipeline sections are
connected by five crossings, built by horizontal directional drilling method (HDD), which enabled to minimize the negative impact on ecological system of Krasnodar region. Construction of all the cross- ings was performed in extremely complicated soils with fractures and hidden cavities in conditions of big altitude differences
Four gas distribution stations have been built on the gas pipeline: “Dzhubga – 1” and “Dzhubga – 2”, “Novomikhailovskaya” and “Tuapse”and several engineering facilities
Increased attention was paid to abidance by ecological requirements and execution of environment-oriented activities,state-of-the-art and the most advanced technologies were applied during construction of the gas pipe-line Dzhubga – Lazarevskoye – Sochi
LLC “SGM” was acknowledged the winner of competition “100 best companies of Russia” for application of HDD method during installation of Dzhubga Lazarevskoye – Sochi gas pipeline. Ecology and ecological management in the nomination “Technologies of the year”. The competition expert committee named the project to be the best implementation of available technologies to decrease negative impact on the environment
