OffShore Construction

LLC «STROYGAZMONTAZH» gained a wealth of experience
in management of offshore gas pipeline construction. The construction
of Dzhubga – Lazarevskoye – Sochi trunk gas pipeline was completed
in 2011.
This gas pipeline provides the secure energy delivery to Sochi and gas
supply to the facilities of the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympic Games

159.5 km of a 177 km-long gas pipeline were laid under the sea. It was made to preserve the unique ecosystem of the Black Sea coast, in particular the ecosystem of relict forests and the Sochi National Park.

Five crossings between land and sea (in Dzhubga, Tuapse, Kudepsta Regions and Novomikhailovsky settlement) were built by horizontal directional drilling in the rock mass. One of the crossings has a very long length of 1,547

Due to seismic hazard a protective shield of 762 mm in diameter was placed in the hole, where the pipeline was placed afterwards

Due to the construction of Dzhubga – Lazarevskoye – Sochi gas pipeline LLC-STROYGAZMON-TAZH became an award winner of “100 Best Companies of Russia. Ecology and Ecological Management” contest
