SGM Group of Companies performs construction works of virtually all the strategically important trunk gas pipelines in Russia, including
Dzhubga-Lazarevskoye-Sochi, Sakhalin-Khabarovsk-Vladivostok, Gryazovets-Vyborg, Pochinki-Gryazovets, Ukhta-Torzhokgas pipelines and also holds responsibility for the construction of 14 compressor stations and above 20 gas distribution stations.

Among the works being performed by SGM Group of Companies are:

• Construction of facilities for the oil and gas sector, including development of oil and gas fields; building of commercial, industrial and trunk pipelines; construction of facilities for comprehensive treatment of gas, gas condensate and oil;
• Supervision to ensure the conformity of construction-assembly work and used structures, products, materials, and supplied equipment with the project design as well as with the construction norms and regulations, standards, specifications and other normative documents;
• Control over error correction in design and estimate documentation and work to prevent unjustified increases in estimated cost of construction;
• Inspection and evaluation of completed work and structural elements;
• Checkup of the equipment received for assembly as to its condition and conformity with the project and its comprehensive approbation, as well as the acceptance and appraisal of assembly;
• Maintaining operational documentation;
• Participation in the work of acceptance committees during commissioning of the facility.
