The head of "Gazprom" also reported an increase in the investment program of the gas giant in 2015 for at least $ 4 billion (current investment program is 840 billion rubles). According to him, most of this amount will be used to finance the eastern program.
He also informed about the readiness of "Gazprom" to fulfill the commitments for the construction of the gas pipeline "Turkish Stream" (an alternative to closure of the project "South Stream") to the borders with Greece. "But what concerns the creation of capacity already in the European Union, it has an area of ​​responsibility of the EU and the European Commission", - said Miller.
In February, "Gazprom" and the China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) have agreed on the location of the underwater crossing of the Amur River pipeline along the eastern route, ie, via the "Power of Siberia."
"Gazprom" and CNPC in May 2014 signed a 30-year contract for the supply of Russian pipeline gas to China of 38 billion cubic meters per year, which is estimated at $ 400 billion. The first deliveries could begin in 2018. Construction of gas pipeline "The Power of Siberia" was launched in September 2014, it will be on transportation fuel Yakutsk and Irkutsk gas production centers in China and the Far East of Russia.
