Construction Of Surface Facilities

The construction of surface facilities for the oil and gas infrastructure is one of the top priorities of the SGM Group of Companies

In June 2012, LLC “STROYGAZMONTAZH” became a contractor for the construction of thе CS Russkaya (1st phase), the world’s most powerful station, and also for the CS
korenovskaya(1st phase).

The CS Russkaya will become a starting point for the offshore section of the South Stream pipeline. Its 1st phase capacity will amount to 224 MW. Its expansion will make it the largest compressor station in the world, with its capacity to be doubled to reach 448 MW. The first phase capacity of the CS korenovskaya will amount to 125 MW.

The SGM Group of Companies has brought into operation 4 compressor stations for the Gryazovets –vyborg trunk gas pipeline, 1st string, while two more are still under construction to be brought into operation in Q4, 2102

CS babaevskaya(125 MW) in the Vologda Region was built in Q4, 2011
CS Elizavetinskaya(64 MW) in the Leningrad Region was completed in Q4, 2011
CS volkhovskaya (64 MW) in the Leningrad Region was commissioned in Q4, 2011
CS volkhovskaya(64 MW) in the Leningrad Region was commissioned in Q4, 2012
CS Sheksninskaya(64 MW) in the Leningrad Region will be brought into operation in Q3, 2012

 CS vyaznikovskaya(64 MW) in the Vladimir Region is under construction on the Pochinki – Yaroslavl section of thePochinki – Gryazovets trunk gas pipeline.

CS Ivanovskaya(96 MW) in the Ivanovo Region at the Pochinki – Yaroslavl section of the Pochinki  Gryazovets trunk gas pipeline was completed in Q3, 2011

SGM Group of Companies has completed the project “Reconstruction of a Pilot Compressor Station at the CS Gryazovets” for the Ukhta – torzhok trunk gas pipeline system in the Vologda Region. The CS has been equipped with a 32 MW gas-compressor unit called GPA-32 “Ladoga” of high efficiency (36%) and a substantial service life. The CS was brought into operation in Q2, 2011

the SGM Group of Companies is currently involved in the construction of six compressor stations for the 2nd string of the Gryazovets – vyborg trunk gas pipeline, which is to be completed in Q4, 2012

CS Intinskaya(compressor shop No. 1) (128 MW) located on the 1st string of the Bovanenkovo – Ukhta trunk pipeline in the Inta District, the Komi Republic. To be completed in Q2, 2013

The SGM Group of Companies is currently involved in the construction of the CS baydaratskaya (compressor shop No. 2) (capacity 96 MW), which is located on the 2nd string of the Bovanenkovo – Ukhta trunk gas pipeline in Yamal Region, Yamal-Nenets Autonomous District. The CS is to be completed in Q4, 2014

the SGM Group of Companies is constructing 4 compressor stations on the 6th string of the Ukhta –
torzhok trunk gas pipeline that is to be completed in Q2 – Q4, 2013

The SGM Group of Companies is constructing the Sakhalin main compressor station (MCS Sakhalin) located at the starting point of Sakhalin – khabarovsk – vladivostok trunk gas pipeline route on the east coast of North Sakhalin. The MCS Sakhalin is being constructed on a phase-by-phase basis. The first phase facilities were brought into operation in Q3, 2011. Thus, the key process equipment has been installed, and two gas-compressor units GPA-16M-03 “Urals” have been assembled and brought into operation. The current capacity of the station is 32 MW that after it’s expansion and new gas compressor units commission will be 128 MW in total

 Within the framework of the Sakhalin – Khabarovsk – Vladivostok trunk gas pipeline construction the SGM Group of Companies is constructing buildings and structures for three maintenance bases to service the gas pipeline in the khabarovsk territory:

base of the khabarovsk trunk Pipelineline Production department,
Khabarovsk District
Works at the facilities were completed in Q3, 2012


the SGM Group of Companies is working on the expansion of the Neva Underground Gas Storage (4th phase of expansion) located in Krestets District, Novgorod Region. The project provides for equipping compressor shop No. 2 with three Caterpillar gas-
compressor units thus making it possible to additionally pump 0.5 billion cubic meters of gas.

the SGM Group of Companies is constructing the CS kubanskaya near the town of Ust-labinsk, the krasnodar territory
Customer: CJSC“Gazprom invest Yug”
The station’s capacity will be 48 MW in total. The CS Kubanskaya is being built as part of the project “Expansion of the Russia – TurkeyGas Pipeline” on the Izobilnoe – Dzhubga section to secure gas supply to the Dzhubga – Lazarevskoe – Sochi gas pipeline.

In 2011, seven compressor stations were commissioned. The SGM Group of Companies is constructing another 21 compressor stations and three bases
