Installation of Gas Supply Service in the Russian Regions

SGM Group of Companies is involved in the national «Program of installation of gas supply in the Russian regions» by JSC «Gazprom» from the very moment of its foundation.
The SGM Group of Companies: JSC «Krasnodargazstroy», JSC «Volgogaz» and LLC «SCC «Gazregion» — have many years of experience in the construction of gas distribution networks in different regions of Russia in challenging climatic and geological conditions and earthquake-prone areas.
The geography of construction activities of the SGM Group of Companies within the program of installation of gas supply spans all the territory of the RF. That is over 50 constituent entities of the RF in the Central, Southern, Northwestern, Far Eastern, Siberian, Urals, Volga and North Caucasian Federal Districts.
In 2011 the SGM Group of Companies constructed and put into operation over 2000 km of gas networks in more than 40 constituent entities of the RF. 516 km of gas pipelines were built in the Volgograd region, about 365 km of inter-town and intra-town gas pipelines were constructed in the Republic of Dagestan; Olympic facilities in Sochi received gas on the Krasnodar Territory.
The general vector of construction of gas distribution networks is shifting to the Far East and Eastern Siberia where the level of gas supply remains low. The SGM Group of Companies is directly involved in the construction of gas distribution networks in these remote regions.
In April 2012, the SGM Group of Companies completed construction of 34-kilometer long inter-settlement gas pipeline (main and reserve lines) from the GDS in Vladivostok to Russky Island. During this construction, a unique three-kilometer underwater crossing of Eastern Bosphorus Strait was completed; and there is nothing like it in the world. The pipeline provided power and heating to the capital of the Primorye Territory and the facilities of the APEC-2012 summit. Construction of the pipeline was carried out using the method of horizontal directional drilling, which allowed both to preserve a unique fish fauna of the region, as well as not to limit the transit of vessels through the strait.
In 2012, the SGM Group of Companies will lay over 2 600 km of gas networks in 33 constituent entities of the country under the Program of gasification of the Russian regions. Almost 1 thousand kilometers of inter-settlement gas pipelines out of them will be built in the Volgograd region, which will be almost entirely gasified by the beginning of 2014.
Natural gas coming through the gas pipelines constructed by the SGM Group of Companies is not only an improvement of the quality of life for an individual resident but also a possibility to create new production, develop small and medium size business.
