Nevskoye underground gas storage facility

Customer: LLC "Gazprom invest Zapad" 
Nevskoye underground gas storage facility (UGSF), based in Krestetsky District of the Novgorod Region, is the biggest gas storage facility in the North-West of Russia. Resources of the facility allow to maintain volume of gas consumption in the Region during the most cold one hundred days in full compliance with obligations to OAO Gazprom.
SGM Group of Companies is continuing to work on expansion of Nevskoye UGSF (the 4th construction stage). Planned reconstruction of the existent compressor workshop №2 (CW-2) have to increase an active volume of gas by 4 million cubic meters per day in order to increase gas storage facility capacity up to 25 million cubic meters per day.
CW-2 will be equipped with three gas reciprocating gas-pumping units with the capacity of 5 MW each within the Project. This will allow to pump in additional 0.5 billion cubic meters of gas per year.
These works are planned to be completed in the 3d quarter of 2013.
Having constructed Nevskoye UGSF in the 1970s JSC "Lengazspetsstroy" during more than 30 years was working at the expansion and infrastructure development of UGSF. In 2011 the Company has completed 3d construction stage of UGSF expansion including construction of gathering station №6.
