The SGM Group of Companies has completed the construction and installation works at the facilities of the first phase of commissioning of the upgraded Saratov – Gorky gas pipeline at the section Pochinki – Saransk.
The Saratov — Gorky gas pipeline was constructed to replace the old gas pipeline, which was built in 1960 and reached a high degree of wear out. The gas pipeline was built by order of CJSC «Gazprom invest Yug» under the Integrated Program for Reconstruction and technical modernization of gas transportation facilities of OJSC «Gazprom».
An underground crossing across the Rudnya River with the length of 300 m was built in the course of construction.
