Sakhalin – Khabarovsk – Vladivostok

540 km of linear portion of the first start-up complex of Sakhalin –
Khabarovsk – Vladivostok gas transmission system and Sakhalin CS,
its main compressor station, were constructed.
Due to the commissioning
of the Gas Transmission System such regions as the Sakhalin Region,
the Primorsky and the Khabarovsk territories were provided with gas

The first start-up complex of Sakhalin– Khabarovsk – Vladivostok gas transmission system had been built for a record-short time (2 years) Over 5 thousand employees of SGM Group and nearly 2 thousand units of equipment were engaged in construction of the gas pipeline.

In the Primorsky Territory the unique two-string crossing of 3 km long was built-up to Russky Island across the Eastern Bosphorus by means of the horizontal directional drilling technique. The works were performed with two drilling systems coming towards each other from opposite directions with subsequent connection under the seabed

About 240 km of gas pipeline route passed across the earthquake areas (some areas are characterized by seismic hazard that reaches 9 in terms of intensity). These areas were equippe with the geotechnical monitoring system that allows controlling ground and pipeline movements
